Buz Koelbel transitions to new role of Executive Chairman

Looking back at 47 years of extraordinary dedication.

Highlights of his accomplishments include the incredibly successful Pinehurst Country Club; the award-winning custom community ‘The Preserve in Greenwood Village’; the creation of the flourishing Rendezvous resort community in Winter Park; as well as many innovative commercial projects such as Catalyst in RiNo.

Buz’s impact on this company, the quality of life we offer residents, and the more than 60 people who work at Koelbel is immeasurable.

Carl Koelbel will be taking on the role of President and CEO, having worked closely with Buz on day-to-day operations for the past 12 years. Continuing the strong family legacy Buz’s other two sons, Walt and Dean, will remain in top leadership positions.
