Eating, Dining, and Shopping in Lowry
Lowry, and especially Lowry Town Center which is a short walk from the new townhomes at Boulevard One, are both full of ways to spend your time. From casual eateries to upscale establishments, you’ll never be hungry for long here. The restaurants in Lowry Town Center are fantastic and we particularly recommend Tavern Lowry and The Delectable Egg. Lowry Beer Garden is also a must-visit, offering both indoor and outdoor seating, a long list of brews, and high-quality dishes.
The most recent addition to the area is The Exchange — an engaging mix of retail, restaurant, and entertainment spaces. Denver Beer Co. has opened its fourth location there, which includes a brewery, taproom, an outdoor patio and garden, as well as an in-house restaurant. Denver Beer Co. is also joined by Target, YogaSix, and Clark’s Market among others. Clark’s Market is a favorite of ours — a grocery store that offers a true ‘experience’ — where you’ll find high-end and high-quality ingredients, specialty items, and made-to-order fresh smoothies and meals.
Other Nearby Lowry Attractions
If you’re looking for more active things to do in Lowry, this Denver neighborhood has lots of exciting options. Big Bear Ice Arena is the perfect place for family or friends to skate — especially if you’re looking for a place to cool off during the summer. Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is also a must-visit. This incredible museum hosts exhibitions, events, and educational programming year-round. Located in the former Lowry Air Force Base, Wings Over the Rockies has over 100,000 square feet of exhibit space dedicated to displaying aircraft, space vehicles, uniforms, and a range of other artifacts that really bring history to life.
If you’re looking for cultural enrichment that doesn’t require you to walk, you have to check out Soiled Dove Underground. Located three minutes from the homes at Boulevard One, The Soiled Dove is often called Denver’s most intimate concert venue — with no seat more than 45 feet from the stage.
Cherry Creek
Just a few minutes west of Boulevard One lies Cherry Creek. This neighborhood is full of life, vibrancy, and shops featuring both global and local brands. Cherry Creek North is a 16-block area that’s completely walkable, brimming with attractions, and full of character. Because of the great variation in businesses here, strolling around Cherry Creek North is a great way to spend a day. Feel like spending your day indoors? Cherry Creek Shopping Center is the place to go. With more than 160 shops, 15 restaurants, and a large, modern movie theater, the shopping center has everything you need and lots you don’t (but that you’ll really want).
